An extremely rare and collectable Hermès silk scarf by African American artist Kermit Oliver from A/W 2002. The design is called “Tsitsika (“Time When Nothing Is Real”) or “Les Indiens de la Côte Pacifique, Nord-Ouest de L’Amerique et du Canada” and is part of Oliver’s series of designs based on nature and ethnographic illustrations of Native American tribes in America and Canada. The design of “Tsitsika” focuses on the Kwakiutl people. Hand rolled edges.
